Seven islands totally different one from the other, the Aeolian Islands are off of Sicily’s northeastern coast and are Unesco protected treasures. Two are active volcanoes, and all have stunning, crystal clear waters offering a wealth of opportunities for relaxation and sport for swimmers, kayakers, divers and hikers. Excellent food and wine.
The islands are named after the Greek god and keeper of the winds Aeolus.
